Why I Write

This blog exists because silence nearly broke me.

I write about trauma, healing, family, and the long, complicated process of becoming yourself after survival. Not to shock. Not to cause pain. But to make sense of what happened—and how it changed me.

I’ve written about sexual assault, betrayal, divorce, and the confusion that can come with trying to understand the choices someone makes. But this space is not just about what hurt me. It’s about what helped me survive. And what I’m still learning.

You won’t find graphic details here. You will find honesty, reflection, and compassion—for myself and for anyone reading who sees pieces of their own story in mine.

Some posts are heavy. Some are quiet. Some are hopeful. All of them are written with care.

If you are healing, questioning, grieving, or rebuilding, you are welcome here. If you are not ready to read everything, that’s okay too.

Take what you need. Leave the rest. And know you are not alone.
